Hi,

My name is Elizabeth, and I live in Oregon. I am participating in the Comment Challenge, and I was reading your front page. I think that I would be a bit indignant if someone shut down my blog without asking permission….although, in all honesty, I hadn’t really considered it before. Interesting thought….

I guess it makes you realize that you really do have to be careful on the internet. A lot of people loosen up over time and start spilling out personal information, but what most of us forget is that it can still be viewed by anybody.

Anyway, great post.

Sincerely,
Elizabeth :)

I'm not in your class but I'm particapating in the comment challenge and had to leave something so personally I would be majorly happy that our blogs got cancelled because our blogging teacher doesnt let us post things on our thoughts, oppinions, we dont get to be ourselves or unique. We only post on dumb things with facts only. I love how your classes blogs are so much more of a fun thing we're poeple can tell eachothers personality instead of some websites or books notes on subjects :) well, uhm Bye

I think that people should be more careful of what they put in their blogs away. I would be angry if some shut down my blog. I think before I put athing in my blog because other look at it and might dislike what it have. So I think if you shutdown someones blog it is for a good point. I think that there is no benefit for you personally to having a blog this year because if you really think about it it is pointless me, myself and I think that the only one reason you should have a blog if you are working with an other class out of the state and your doing projects with them and your tell a little about yourself you need one to get to know each other. That is that only reason why I have it. But, if I didn't do that I would not have a blog. So I think next time I would check before posting anything on my blog and I will never put any personal information about myself or my family where someone could see it so they will not shut down my blog.

I think that it was wrong for the school to shut down the blog only because some parents didn't agree with the blogs. If i was Mr.Rasidana I would be very angry because in a blog you expresses your opinion to say and write what you think.I think that it wasn't right for the school to shut down his blogs and for him to lose his job. I think his student really miss him so the school should rehire him agian because I think this is afecting the students . They must really miss him. I think that it is not right what the school did he was just showing his opinions and expressing himself he wasn,t doing anything inappropate.

Hey Mr.Fisher i think it was wrong that they shut down the blogs. I would be upset if they shut our blogs down. Our blogs is something where i can express what i feel. I also think that Mr.Raisanda was treated unfairly. He shouldnt have been fired. He did nothing wrong.

I would be kind of surprised, because I'm always used to doing blogs in my class. If owuld be weird for not having blogs anymore. In those blogs, we would out everything. We would express ourselfs. And i guess that is all I have to say about it.

This is very true, Students how walk home have a greater chance of getting someone to follow them. There are websittes like Myspace where they ask you to put your name and phone number.

I think my blog was suddenly shut down
i would find out why and probably be a little
bit angry for the reason that i had some
memorial stuff in it where i can go back to
it in the future and remember things that i did
in this grade.

Also staying safe in the internet has always
been a big rule to internet users so i agree.

I personally think that it is unjust to take away all of the persons blogs just for comments that they consider wrong. if the people have a problem with someones blog they could have just left comments asking if they could take the blogs out. If they just remove the person's blog then all of their hard work goes down the drain.
